We're The Same Species

A call for world peace, unity and a call out against systemic racism. We are all one species sharing the same planet!

We're The Same Species (2020)

Introducing my latest release: We're the Same Species. Created on October 10, 2019, this track was created in a dash of inspiration with the new sounds like Department of Transformation was.

The idea was to make something very happy-sounding to encourage happiness and musically support those in need. I did not feel ready to release this, but now, with the unrest in the USA, now spreading around the world, sparked by George Floyd's murder in Minneapolis, the topic of racism reared its ugly head into public discourse once again.

Angry, upset, and outraged, I felt it was the right time to release this, in the hopes that it will support anyone who has been traumatised by the recent events. It doesn't matter what your race is; this track was made as a denouncement to all the -isms and -phobias with a simple truth: WE'RE ALL HUMANS! WE'RE THE SAME SPECIES!

We need to put down our labels, and recognise this binding commonality we all have, and continue to denounce systemic racism.

I'm releasing this track now, with the hope that it can heal people and promote love for one another with it's happy-sounding melodies.
