This was one of the many tracks I have where I do not remember the design process behind it, other than I started typing some notes which play throughout the whole track, added percussion, and here it is! It was created on July 8, 2018.

I decided to call this track "Totem" because it means "any natural object or animal believed to have meaning by a group, so it's adopted as their emblem". I just thought it'd sound fitting. It has nothing to do with totem poles.

While making this track and listening to it, my imagination brought up images of a star in the night sky and a trail leading to it, so I made that this track's cover art.

It would make a great track to listen to while you're driving down a highway at 2 in the morning or something.
