Siberia (2020)

Siberia is a progressive house track I started on July 26, 2019. It's the second Russia-themed track I have, with the other being Norilsk.

There's not really much of a story behind the making of this track; I just messed around with some percussions, and then I added some plucks, and overall just wanted to practise buildups in this track, which I think I did quite well.

My favourite parts are the chords starting at 2:00 and 5:02; these are some of my best baselines I've made, inspired heavily by deadmau5 (the greatest influence on my work)!

FUN FACT, Before it was called Siberia, it was called "Russia Is Too Big" It sounded the exact same as this track, except a voice saying "Russia is too big" repeated itself all throughout this track. I removed it because it sounded too annoying.
