Rottnest Island was created on July 7, 2022 and finished on December 11, 2022. It's gonna be the first track of another album I've got in the works soundtracking the adventures of the Space Quokkas!

A derivative of my fast-paced "power electro" style of music, Rottnest Island has an 80s touch that makes this sound like new wave rock music. The melody actually comes from another track I've finished (but is unreleased) played backwards! (August 23, 2024 update: That track was released as Gone Fishing: moule.bandcamp.com/track/gone-fishing) Dire Straits' "Walk of Life" and A-ha's "Take On Me" were big inspirations for both tracks!
