Released in November 2020, I actually started making this in December 2015, when I was still familiarising myself with GarageBand. I finished it in April 2017 and mastered it in November 2020.

"Overclocked" was, like all my tracks, a result of constant experimentation. I started with this computery noise thing, and the track was originally tuned to C major and was 100 BPM, but I decided to increase the tempo to 128 BPM and transpose the track to C# major instead to produce something less boring.

This transpose also happened to shift the instruments in the Orchestral Kit up one note which produced steam noises instead of percussion, so that was interesting too! This increase of speed for a computery-sounding track is why it's called "Overclocked", because the original sounded slower.

What followed was me adding on drums and having piano / string bridges. It's like the computery meets the orchestral!
