Lazy Afternoon (2021)

Introducing the soundtrack of staying home: Lazy Afternoon! I mean, what else is there to do during the pandemic? Everywhere is closed!

"Lazy Afternoon" was created on November 25, 2020 and finished the same day, after playing around with GarageBand's new "Pop Producer" keyboard. Ironically, I went on to finish two more tracks that same day (Enjoy the Ride and Unlimited Data), so it was an afternoon that was FAR from lazy!

Playing around with the new keyboard, I started with the piano melody, then added drums, and then that "Whee-ooh-woo-weeeee-wooooo" sound thing. It was apparent this carefree track I had created is the soundtrack of just sitting back and having the day off - a lazy afternoon.

And, because it's the Year of the Quokka, I've hidden a quokka in this cover art too, like all my releases in 2021! Unfortunately, due to Bandcamp's image compression, it can't be seen here.

"Lazy Afternoon" is my 131st finished track and 51st release. To hear this on other platforms, go to distrokid.com/hyperfollow/moule/lazy-afternoon. For the latest MOULE updates, follow or bookmark Mastodon.
