Friday the 27th

You've heard of Friday the 13th, but have you heard of Friday the 27th?!

Friday the 27th (2020)

Friday the 27th is my 13th release! It is the 90th track I have completed out of over a hundred, still sitting on my computer, but I'll get around to releasing them. It was actually made a long time ago, on August 9, 2018, and wasn't completed until late April 2019, then released here to Bandcamp in late March of 2020. So yeah, this track is one of the rare instances of me actually finishing a project I started several years ago.

The general idea was to have an upbeat track that is very difficult to not dance to. Basically adding a "soundtrack" to that excited feeling of coming home from work on a Friday.

The "27th" part of this track has four meanings: the first was that I was born on Friday the 27th (so this is sort of my "birthday music"), the second is that in most Linux distros, the icon for the Calendar app shows Friday the 27th on it too, the third is to be a "positive" version of the "negative" Friday the 13th that occurs on the other side of the month, and the fourth is that I waited to release this track to Bandcamp on Friday the 27th too!

While I will admit that I could've improved this track a bit (which I might do in the future actually), I'm still happy with what I have done.
