Created in late July 2019, Foxes was my attempt at trying to produce a deep house track which turned into this. It began when I was working on another track, and out of boredom I played some random notes, which you hear repeat throughout this track.

I took the MIDI file I made of these notes and put it in its own track, and from there I added in bitcrushed bells, chilled backing pads, and other sounds I thought complimented the MIDI file.

The result turned into a deep house track which I thought had a dark, sneaky, and curious sort of vibe to it, so I named it "Foxes", after an animal which has a reputation for being sneaky. "Fox" didn't sound right to me, so I pluralised the title.
