Duck Army (2021)

Introducing "DUCK ARMY"! I figured it was time to release something a little more comedic this time. My last release was pretty dark!

Ducks, swans, and other waterbirds are one of my special interests, so it makes sense that I should make a track about them. It represents the mass gathering of ducks whenever someone feeds them breadcrumbs, despite the fact that ducks cannot digest bread and it pollutes their water. So they form some sort of an "army" to battle over breadcrumbs.

Now as for the creation of the track itself...it's had quite a history of changes. It was originally called "Forester", whose only presence in the final track is in the ending of this (with other elements throughout this track). Forester was created on January 2, 2020, a day after I began sharing my music with the world.

But a year later, on January 1, 2021, I created another track called "Duck Army". After not knowing what to release after A League of My Own, I decided to merge Duck Army with Forester, completely rewrite Forester, and call the whole track "Duck Army". A similar story happened with Chimera, Norilsk, and Enjoy the Ride - where I merged incomplete tracks together. Forester, however, was already complete, yet I decided to merge Duck Army's sounds with it.

There's a quokka hidden in this cover art...see if you can find it!
