One of my darkest-sounding releases yet, It is one of my earlier releases, with production starting on July 21, 2017 and finishing shortly after, but what I considered "finished" back then sounds terrible to me now - the mastering was askew and the high-hat cymbals sounded like skunk farts.

In March 2021, using constructive feedback from the indie electro music community for previous releases, I've remastered this track and turned it into one of my best dark electro house tracks ever!

I forgot my music design process, but once again it involved me playing around aimlessly in GarageBand until I got something I liked. I created a buzz synth with high release that resets when the note is played which you hear throughout the track.

Hearing what I made, the first image which popped into my head was someone in a hoodie walking down a dark road, which would become the cover art.

"A League of My Own" naturally followed as the title, but instead of it meaning "better than others", I intend for it to mean just doing my own thing, chasing my own dreams down my own lanes and not competing with others - a constant journey of self-improvement. It's also a homage to my love of solitude.

Also, it's still 2021, which means it's still the Year of the Quokka! All my tracks released in 2021 will have a quokka hidden in their cover arts. The quokka in this cover art is even more hidden than in my other tracks' cover arts...can you find it in this one?
