10000 OVERKILL

10000 OVERKILL - A musical middle finger to my previous fastest release 2020 OVERKILL! 10000 OVERKILL was at the time of releasing this the new fastest MOULE track at 10000 BPM!!

10000 OVERKILL was created on May 30, 2023 after I did a thing I vowed never to do again: compare my music to others. After reviewing my 202X extratone series (the ones with the "202_ OVER____" title format and chaotic two-colour cartoon collages of world events), and compared it with other extratone tracks, I felt like my extratone tracks (ranging from 1200 - 2020 BPM) weren't fast enough. Plus, I wanted to keep 2020 OVERKILL as "the fastest MOULE track ever" at 2020 BPM and based my 202X tracks' tempos off how "chaotic" the world was every 6 months.

I got frustrated with this and declared on social media I would eventually release music a lot faster than 2020 OVERKILL but never followed through...until now!

10000 OVERKILL is about me breaking my own record - literally! The cover art of 10000 OVERKILL depicts me snapping 2020 OVERKILL's cover art in half, symbolising the end of 2020 OVERKILL's "speed supremacy", as well as my venturing into supertone (10000 BPM or above) music, with even more fast tempos and more satisfying glitchy sound effects. My future extratone and 202X tracks will be a LOT faster, including the one I'm releasing after this!

This track was inspired a lot by extratone artists like Kobaryo, Camellia, and Diabarha, and I'm so happy with 10000 OVERKILL because I've achieved the glitchy sounds of extratone that inspired my 202X tracks in the first place. I also feel more connected to the extratone community!
